2023 – 2024
No Women, No Kids takes its title from a phrase associated with Luc Besson’s León: The Professional (1994), evoking a moral code of protection amid violence and conflict. The project connects this contemporary reference with the legacy of Mexican printmaker José Guadalupe Posada and his iconic image of the skull — la calavera. Through mixed media on raw canvas, the skeletal figures become part of a contemporary danse macabre — reflecting on war, mortality, and the enduring strength of the human spirit. Presented in Tel Aviv at Hanina Gallery and in Riga.
